GroZone seed coating contains unique strains of live Rhizobium and delivers more Rhizobium per seed than preinoculated uncoated seed.  GroZone coating protects these specially selected nitrogen-fixing bacteria and helps sustain their viability in the bag and during establishment.  At planting, GroZone enhances emergence in wet or dry conditions.  GroZone contains a fungicide to help control diseases that attack new seedings during wet years. In dry years, when germination may be delayed, GroZone coating protects the seed and promotes Rhizobium survival.

The components, coating, Rhizobium and fungicide, are designed to provide an excellent microenvironment that promotes Rhizobium and seedling survival.
