GroZone - `Start Strong with Improved GroZone® seed coating.

GroZone delivers at least 100% more live Rhizobium per seed than preinoculated uncoated seed.

GroZone offers a specially selected mix of nitrogen-fixing bacteria,
fungicide and coating for:

  • Better Emergence
  • Better Nodulation
  • Better Application 

GroZone seed coating contains unique strains of live Rhizobium and delivers more Rhizobium per seed than preinoculated uncoated seed.  GroZone coating protects these specially selected nitrogen-fixing bacteria and helps sustain their viability in the bag and during establishment.  At planting, GroZone enhances emergence in wet or dry conditions.  GroZone contains a fungicide to help control diseases that attack new seedings during wet years. In dry years, when germination may be delayed, GroZone coating protects the seed and promotes Rhizobium survival.

Better Emergence

  • 10 – 20% better emergence than preinoculated uncoated seed (Univ. of MN, Univ. of CA)
  • 25% better emergence when germination is delayed due to low moisture
  • 10% better seedling survival at normal moisture

  • GroZone contains a unique mix of Rhizobium strains selected to improve nodulation and promote nitrogen-fixation

The components, coating, Rhizobium and fungicide, are designed to provide an excellent microenvironment that promotes Rhizobium and seedling survival. GroZone contains four specially selected and tested strains of Rhizobium bacteria that increase your alfalfa plants ability to fix nitrogen. These strains are selected for their ability to survive in the soil and on the seed with at least 18 months shelf life.
