“We raise Angus cattle and also market alfalfa hay as part of our business. We have a broker who comes in and sells our hay in southern Minnesota. Tonnage is No. 1 for us, although quality also is right up there -- it’s important for us to get the tonnage.
“We usually take three cuttings, depending upon the weather. We get a lot of rain here, so we are not always able to put up our hay under the best of conditions. AmeriStand 403T stands up really well under poor conditions.
“I’m starting to plant AmeriStand 407TQ now, because It has a finer leaf and stalk. But based on what I have seen on my farm, 403T is every bit as good as – if not better than – any alfalfa I have ever grown.”
